Rubbing of Zheng Lezhai and Guo’s Epitaph

Collection situation

      The time of collection of the rubbing is unknown and the original epitaph is missing.
      The upper part broken and several words missing. Its upper end is engraved with double dragon pattern and the other three sides are decorated with dragon pattern. The inscription is as the title, and the last line reads “inscribed by Zheng Jing, in 1675”. The author is Zheng Chenggong's eldest son, Zheng Jing, who led the army to Fujian during the revolt of the three feudatories in mainland and visited his ancestral grave in his hometown. The epitaph describes the inheritance from the seventh ancestor of Shijing Zheng to Zheng Chenggong from generation to generation.It is an important history document for Research Zheng Chenggong's family history.
