Guan Yin Vase (Zun) with Blue Glaze Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)

Collection situation

Height 61.5 cm Diameter of rim 19.2 cm, Diameter of foot 19.2 cm
The mouth was designed like a Malus spectabilis. It has a narrow neck and stout shoulder. The shoulder inclined inside slightly. It has a short foot. There are four smooth protrusions from the mouth to the bottom which divide the Zun into four parts. The clay of the body is white and heavy. It was covered with blue glaze all over the body; the glazes were clear, full, well-distributed and flourish. The Zun is so big and it is made so grave and beautiful. The blue glaze on the Zun is pure and elegant. The Zun of Buddhism Goddess Guan Yin is called “Guan Yin Bottle” too which is dignified and graceful so it’s a good choice to buy such a bottle in home as a decoration.
