Archaized Vase in the Shape of Ancient Bronze GU

It has a round mouth and it looks like a trumpet. It has a long neck and its belly is crippling outward. It has a high round foot which crippling outward too. There are four protrusions along the belly to the foot. The clay body is smooth and hard which is covered with archaizing bronze glaze (the glaze looks like the color of tea). It is decorated with thunder patterns; transfiguring banana leaves patterns and transfiguring animals’ face patterns.
It is a porcelaneous GU that made in Jing Dezhen, Qing Dynasty, and Qian Long Reign. It imitated the bronze GU in the end of Shang Dynasty. The GU is made precisely but its decorations aren’t as delicate and solemn the decorations on the bronze GU in Shang Dynasty.
GU is a tool for drinking wine in Shang and Zhou Dynasty. Usually it is made in bronze but this porcelaneous GU is a ornament.
