    The painter’s original name is QiuYing (1509-1552), with courtesy name of “Shi Fu” and he also titled “Shi Zhou”. His hometown is Taicang town, Jiangsu Province but his family settled down in Suzhou City (original named Wu town), Jiangsu Province.
    QiuYing was a master of figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, architectures paintings but the best one was ladies’ portraits. He was such an expert and he used to imitate masters’ paintings. Most of these paintings were from Tang and Song dynasties. Qiu Ying’s painting style was the same with Zhao Boju and Nan Song’s “Yuan style.”
    The painters drew the paintings with exact delineation and enriched colors. Dark and light green landscape paintings and the paintings about the figures in a specific scene were vivid and exact. The paintings were so elegant, implicit and the colors were so clear and beautiful. They were definitely masters’ painting style.
    Early spring in the Palace of Han Dynasty described the life of the ladies in the palace. The painter drew the painting with exact delineation and enriched colors. There are 113 vivid and different figures in the painting. All details were precisely described. The painter’s drawing skill was so professional and flowing. The figures were attractive and amazing. The whole painting was so gorgeous that we can’t help praising.
