The Former Residence of Chen Shengyuan named “Zhenwei House”, it used to locate at Xi’an Street, Siming District, and Xiamen city. It was recorded as the first ancient recite which was related with Taiwan in 2001. In same year, the district where the “Zhenwei House” located had to be rebuilt so the government decided to move the house to Dianqian Villiage, Huli District. The house was protected as the 5th relics of Xiamen in 2004. The House was rebuilt in December, 2006 which occupied 1298 square meter and the structure area was 342 square meter. The worker didn’t change the style of the house so we can see the original structure of the “Zhengwei House.”
    Now, the Former Residence of Chen Shengyuan is the base for patriotic educating in which there is a historical exhibit ion on the opium War and Xiamen. There are 120 pictures and 20 antiques, 5 ancient furnitures in total. The House is open to the public every Wednesday to Sunday for free,
