“Guoxingfu” Copper fire blunderbuss
Collection situation
The fire blunderbuss was unearthed in the Dinghai water area of Lianjiang River, Fujian province in 1989. The original is now collected in the Museum of Lianjiang County, and this is a duplicate.
This copper fire blunderbuss, which was called "hand blunderbuss" in Ming dynasty is hollow in the rear part of the magazine, and it is equipped with a wooden handle, which can be held by both hands and fired by another person.
The fire blunderbuss at the end of this blunderbuss near the touchhole, the three characters "Guoxingfu" were carved in the Yin script.
At present, relics carved with the three characters "Guoxingfu", a direct link with the Zheng Regime, are very rare, So the fire blunderbuss with this sign mark is more precious.
