Seal characters scripted on it are “经理江闽监军御史关防（Military Director for Managing Jiangmin）”, where “Managing（经理）” refers to general administrator, “江” means Jiangnan, “闽” means Fujian, and “江闽” refers to Fujian and the coastal and Yangtze River areas of Zhejiang
According to Ming historical records, “military inspector” to take the charge of supervision and impeachment aslo assessment of merit and punishment. Zheng Chenggong set up military inspector following the system of Ming Dynasty to control Important military officers.The seal was collected from Xiamen in 1960.
