    Avalokitesvara wears a shawl on her head with an updo, and slightly closes her eyes with a smile on the face. She wears a long skirt with wide sleeves and sits cross-legged. The back is inscribed with a square seal of “Bo Ji Yu Ren”. “Bo Ji Yu Ren” is the sealing inscription for the porcelain sculptures of Su Xuejin.
    Su Xuejin (1869一1919 ), a native of Baomei Village, Dezhong Township, Dehua County in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, is a famous artist in the modern history of Dehua porcelain sculpture, and is the main successor of He Chaozong’s artistic achievement.
